Trading Education and Reference Resources
Choose a resource by the question you need to answer, then use a worked example or a practice record to check your understanding.
Connect practice with review
The preview shows how a trading record can be presented alongside performance metrics. All displayed numbers are illustrative. Open the application to check the tools and data currently available.

- Calculate expectancy — connect win rate with average win and loss.
- Understand drawdown — distinguish a loss percentage from the gain needed to recover.
- Build a journal — record the plan, execution and outcome in separate fields.
- Choose replay or backtesting — match the method to the question.
- Check volume data — distinguish ticks from reported trade volume.
Definitions before indicators
A useful explanation states what is being measured, where the data comes from and which assumptions enter the calculation. Two dashboards can show different values without either being a simple arithmetic error if their samples, costs or definitions differ.
Start with the statistics reference for definitions and the calculators to change one input at a time. These resources explain calculations, not personalised investment choices.
Put the lesson into practice
The academy curriculum provides a sequence of exercises. The education hub provides reference material that can be revisited in any order. After a lesson, write a short rule or explanation and test whether the next practice session follows it.
TGSFX publishes these resources under its own name. Examples are illustrative and the website does not claim independent verification of trading performance. See about TGSFX and risk disclosure for the scope of the website.

Where should I start?
Start with the question you can define clearly: a metric, a journal field, a data source or a practice method. Use the academy page if you prefer a sequence.
